Emilio is a 17-year-old boy who has been arrested by the police for robbing a car and a shop, and for reckless driving. As he is not old enough to go to prison, the judge decides to send him to the Leonardo Valverde remand home. Two policemen take him there in a helicopter. But to his surprise, when they land they leave him in the middle of a forest where he cannot find any remand centre or anyone to ask. The next day he finds a shepherd and his flock and, after some disagreement, stays with him. But life is far from easy...
