A photographic book in small format with a tour illustrated by the most emblematic historical shops of Barcelona. Photographs by Consol Bancells Barcelona Shops proposes us to discover the traditional shops  and with more I delight that they form a part of the urban landscape of Barcelona. It gathers yesterday establishments that are architectural jewels and that even today are in service. With a final site plan, the book proposes to discover the historical shops of the count city. Many of them preserve its traditional spirit forged in a few epochs marked by the unions; others are clear exponents of the architectural and decorative styles who marked the physiognomy of the city to beginning of the 20th century: the Modernisme and the Noucentisme. > Consol Bancells > Es llicenciada amb grau en História de l'Art, fotógrafa i documentalista. Especialitzada en la investigació sobre les arts decoratives aplicades a l'arquitectura i els comerÇos histórics de Catalunya, ha publicat els llibres Sant Pau,  hospital modernista, El Modernisme a Mallorca, El Modernisme a l'Eixample de Barcelona, Farmácies modernistes de Barcelona, Botigues históriques de Catalunya i Barcelona, botigues amb encant. Ha col·laborat com a fotógrafa i historiadora en projectes de l'Ajuntament i la Diputació de Barcelona
