Francesc Pastor i Verdú (Mutxamel, 1962), llicenciat en Psicopedagogia i doctor en Investigació Educativa per la Universitat d'Alacant, és mestre en el CEIP Arbre Blanc de Mutxamel i professor associat de la Facultat d'Educació de la Universitat d'Alacant. L'any 1985 va guanyar el Premi Joan Valls amb el poemari Les vuit raons de tristesa d'Eugeni Mar (La Rella). Ha estat antologat en A Alacant. Els Dimarts Poètics de La Naya 1987-1989 (Indicios). Els anys 2013 i 2014 guanyà el Premi de Poesia 9 d'Octubre de Sant Vicent del Raspeig, amb Retrat d'amants i Lletres Tardanes, respectivament. El 2017 obtingué el Premi de Marc Granell d'Almussafes amb Lletres de viatge. Amb Fils de Llum ja va guanyar el Premi de Poesia Ciutat de Torrent al 2017, guardó que ha tornat a obtindre amb Nus de Somnis.
